
Closer to the bay there are various nests from large birds of prey, offering great opportunities to watch them fishing and raising their young! Hear legend of 17th century rebels and see abandoned items from 20th century fisherfolk, all while paddling at a relaxed pace along the Poropotank River and its tributaries.
This tour takes about 3 hours, costs $55 per adult and $30 per child, and is fairly sheltered from wind. The launch location is only 15 minutes from the historic Gloucester Courthouse area.
