Gloucester County is located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, near Richmond, Williamsburg, Newport News and Hampton. The County offers more than 506 miles of shoreline. There are five tidal rivers, dozens of navigable creeks, and a lake formed by a man-made impoundment, offering a scenic network of water and land trails to explore.
