Morleys Wharf – Eastern Shore

Morley’s Wharf offers one of Northampton County’s only public, free fishing piers, so anglers can drop a line in for spot, croaker, red drum, spotted trout, flounder, black drum, cobia, striped bass, tautog, gray trout, and other species. Proximity to the Town of Exmore, with hotels, shopping, and dining offerings, makes this a convenient location for a weekend on the Shore. Occohannock Creek marks the line between Accomack and Northampton Counties and its headwaters go further towards the spine of the Eastern Shore peninsula than any other creek. Enjoy a pleasant paddle either upstream into skinny water or hugging the green shoreline out towards the Chesapeake Bay. You’re sure to see birds and watermen working the water for the abundance of fish, crabs, and more!

For a 2.5 hour guided paddling experience the cost is $55 per adult and $30 for children (12 and under) in a tandem with an adult.
